Build a macro by talking, then drag it onto a key in the built-in editor — five virtual decks to design on before you even plug one in. No Elgato software, no plugins. No deck? Every macro binds to keyboard hotkeys too.

Naming, faders and mutes, mute groups, DCAs, buses and sends, EQ (high-pass, shelves, parametric), gates and compressors, routing, scenes and snapshots, phantom power (X32/M32 and Qu) and FX (X32/M32) — turned into real console commands, by voice or keyboard.
Build multi-step macros — mutes, scene recall, timed fades — and fire them from one button. The macro engine itself is deterministic: no AI at runtime.
Undo the last change on X32/M32, or switch on Show Mode so every AI change waits for your confirmation before it's sent. For shows, macro hotkeys mode disables typing and fires only your saved macros from hotkeys.
TalkBoard runs on your Mac or PC and remote-controls the console over your network — the same connection X32-Edit and M32-Edit use. Point it at the editor on your own computer to build shows and prep scenes without hardware.
Flip on Show Mode (Settings → General) and every AI change is held as a confirmation card: you see exactly what will be sent — and to exactly which console — and nothing touches the desk until you press Execute. Commands aimed at every console always ask first, even with Show Mode off.
Every command on the card, risk-flagged, with the target rooms named — a misheard word gets caught on screen, not on the PA.
Changed your mind after Execute? Undo the last AI change on the X32 and M32 families — something the console itself doesn’t have.
Macro hotkeys mode disables typing entirely — keys fire only your saved, deterministic macros. AI output can be wrong; Show Mode exists so you review it first.

You stay in charge: switch on Show Mode and every AI change waits for your confirmation before it touches the desk, and undo is available on X32/M32. No. TalkBoard runs on macOS and Windows computers only — there is no iPhone, iPad or Android version. It controls the console over your network from the laptop or desktop at the desk.
Same idea — say what you want and it happens — but TalkBoard is a desktop app built for digital mixing consoles (the sound board or sound desk at the back of the room). Voice is push-to-talk: hold the spacebar. It isn’t connected to Siri or Alexa.
No. It executes the instructions you give it — faders, EQ, mutes, scenes — faster than menu-diving. You still decide what the mix needs. It’s an assistant, not an engineer.
